Maybe you've been waking up in the morning with a sore back or tossing and turning on your mattress. Is it time for a new mattress? Often purchasing a new mattress only comes along every 15-20 years as most mattresses will often wear well up until this point. If your
mattress falls into this age range then it is quite possible that it's time to replace that mattress. Does your mattress still provide good support? Waking up with aches and pains may be related to health concerns but they may also be because of your mattress. Consult your doctor or physician when you have aches and pains for a prolonged period of time to make sure there aren't related health issues causing it. However, if you can rule out your health then it is likely that those aches and pains are being caused by your mattress and would be a good indication that it's time to replace your mattress. Your body will usually let you know when it's time for a new mattress and remember to give yourself some time to get used to a new mattress if you decide to purchase a new one. We spend on average 8 hours of our 24 hours a day on our mattress. It's a good idea to make sure that when it's time for a new mattress that every effort be made to find the one that will provide us with the most comfort and support.
